T. Boone Pickens to Deliver Keynote Address at the National Natural Gas Vehicle Fleet Summit

Summit to discuss natural gas as a fuel for heavy-duty trucking.

LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 23 -- T. Boone Pickens, Founder and Chairman of BP Capital Management and author of "The Pickens Plan" will be in Louisville, KY on March 24 to address the National Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Fleet Summit. Mr. Pickens, arguably the nation's most vocal advocate for energy independence, will discuss the opportunities that natural gas creates for the transportation industry with respect to significant fuel cost savings, environmental benefits, and a decrease in American consumption of imported petroleum.

Mr. Pickens will be joined at the one-day National NGV Fleet Summit by top-level speakers from leading heavy-duty truck manufacturers, gas equipment and technology providers, and fuel station developers. The audience will be comprised of top fleet managers from across the United States, all attending to learn about ways to power their trucking operations with natural gas--a cleaner-burning alternative fuel.
