Drag racing fans love to be involved in the sport at every level but  
nothing compares with the interest they have in real quarter-mile memorabilia.  
Perhaps that's why JEGS Mail Order founder Jeg Coughlin Sr.'s unprecedented  
giveaway of the actual 1973 Chevy Vega tow vehicle that had become such a  
familiar site at races across the country was such a big hit. It was a 
promotion  that had fans attending the '73 Division 3 championship at National 
Trail  Raceway in record numbers as everyone seemed to want a shot at winning 
the  bright yellow machine.

Carrying "Pops" ultra promotion forward,  Coughlin's four sons, who now run 
the company, are making waves again in 2010 by  giving away a coveted '10 
Chevrolet Camaro. Just as it was in 37 years ago, some  lucky fan will get 
the ride of his dreams and JEGS Mail Order will undoubtedly  have another fan 
and frontline spokesperson for life.
