CONCORD, March 11, 2010: With four races in the rear-view mirror in 2010, Roush Fenway Racing heads into the Sprint Cup Series first off-weekend with cars ranked second and third in the Cup point standings. In fact, Roush Fenway drivers Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle have yet to finish outside of the top 10 in a race this season, while combining for three top-five finishes. Kenseth trails first place Kevin Harvick by only 29 points, with Biffle just 33 points back of the No. 17.

Kenseth posted a Roush Fenway season best runner-up finish last weekend in Atlanta, while Biffle and Edwards each made serious bids to win the season opening Daytona 500.

All in all, Roush Fenway has started 16 Cup entries 2010, finishing inside the top 13 in 11 of those starts, while averaging a 14th-place finish.

“It is awesome,” said Kenseth after his career-best Atlanta runner up finish last Sunday propelled him into the second spot in the Cup standings. “I couldn’t be happier with the way the season has started. It feels good to be competitive and it feels like we are headed in the right direction. It’s been a lot of fun, and really cool to get off to this good of a start and to have been to four different race tracks and be pretty competitive at all of them.”

Biffle says while the start has been solid, the Roush Fenway Ford’s are capable of much more going forward.

"I'd hate to say I'm disappointed with a season that has started with four top-10 finishes in four races but in my opinion, it should have been four top-five finishes in four races,” said Biffle. “We've just had some things happen like being on pit road for a green-flag stop when the caution came out and getting blocked in our pit box that have kept us from those top-five finishes. This team is putting every effort into giving me fast racecars and fast pit stops. We have been a top-five competitor every week and that is what it takes to win championships."

In the Nationwide Series Edwards sits atop the standings, 41 points ahead of second place Brad Keselowski. He is joined inside the top 10 by Roush Fenway teammate Paul Menard, who is ninth in points with two top-10 finishes in three starts in 2010, including an eighth-place run two weeks ago at Las Vegas and a sixth-place run in Daytona.
