Electric Motors Corporation Names Roger Umbaugh CFO

WAKARUSA, Ind.--Electric Motors Corporation (EMCO), developer of electric pick-up trucks and drive systems, moves forward at a clip with the announcement of Roger Umbaugh joining the company as its Chief Financial Officer.

“Roger Umbaugh is a very strong addition to the EMC management team. His unique ability to get the tough jobs done will shorten the company’s path to product introduction. Roger will be responsible for EMC Financial Operations while overseeing Investor Relations and Stock Administrations.”

Mr. Umbaugh joins EMC after a career of public accounting in Indiana assisting in the creation of billions of dollars in Municipal Bonds for the construction of schools, libraries, roads, public recreation facilities, and many other services for Hoosiers.

Roger joined certified public accounting advisor H.J. Umbaugh & Associates in 1975, a practice that provided financial advisory services for hundreds of governmental units (cities, towns, counties, schools, libraries, special taxing districts and not-for-profit corporations) in various stages of financial planning and development of projects. Well-known state-wide for providing financial advisory services for over $1 billion of municipal bonds in Indiana and Michigan, he became Executive Partner in 1994, retiring nine years later.

A civic-minded resident of Plymouth, Indiana, Umbaugh is President of Marshall County’s Industrial Development Corporation since its inception in 2007, chaired the Investment Committee of Marshall County Community Foundation five of the nine years as a board member, served for four years ending in 2009 on the State of Indiana School Property Tax Control board, as well as on the boards of St. Joseph Hospital – Plymouth (February 2004 - July 2007) and St. Joseph Regional Hospital (2006- 2007) Finance Committee.

Chief Executive Officer Ralph King remarks, “Roger Umbaugh is a very strong addition to the EMC management team. His unique ability to get the tough jobs done will shorten the company’s path to product introduction. Roger will be responsible for EMC Financial Operations while overseeing Investor Relations and Stock Administrations.”

Newly appointed President Frank Jenkins states, “Roger’s experience will be a tremendous asset to EMC, and I am glad to be on the same team as someone with such great business savvy.”

Electric Motors Corporation is progressing towards the introduction of its electric pick-up trucks and drive systems. The new executive team has more clearly defined EMC’s launch strategy in order to bring new trucks and drive systems to market as soon as possible.
