TOPEKA, March 4, 2010: WC Vision has announced that The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving has extended a partnership to continue as the Official Driving School of World Challenge in 2010.

The agreement includes a number of items surrounding the upcoming World Challenge season. Each 2010 World Challenge race winner (in GT, GTS and Touring Car classes) will earn a transferable $500 gift certificate to the Bondurant School.

Bondurant is also getting fans at the track and at home into the driver’s seat. Three $500 gift certificates will be raffled off following each driver autograph session this season, and the World Challenge Fantasy League will continue in 2010.

Last season, John Dearing, of Mission Viejo, Calif., captured the four-day Grand Prix Racing school for winning the league.

“We’re extremely happy to continue our partnership with the Bondurant School – one of the top, if not the top, racing schools in the country,” said Dave Drimmie, WC Vision VP, Marketing & Communications. “We know Mr. Bondurant is a huge motorsports fan – he attended a number of our races in 2009, signing autographs and interacting with our fans – and we are honored that he has been so involved with our series.”

Bondurant is also the presenting sponsor of two World Challenge races in 2010. The first is the Toyo Tires World Challenge Grand Prix of Long Beach presented by Bondurant, part of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach weekend. The high performance school will make an appearance again at the season-ending Toyo Tires World Challenge Utah Grand Prix presented by Bondurant.

“As the Official Driving School of World Challenge for the second consecutive season, we are proud to offer our continued support of the organization’s race teams and fans,” said Bob Bondurant, CEO of The Bondurant School. “Our professional instructors are always excited to share our school’s passion for advanced motorsports driving with the World Challenge racers.”

Many well-known professional drivers honed their skills at The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. The school offers everything from the most introductory of courses to advanced level racing clinics, all at a 60-acre purpose-built facility in Phoenix, Ariz.
