Today: Roundtable for Reporters on How Deploying Biorefinery Technology Can Create Jobs, Produce Economic Growth
--Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO):
WHAT: |
The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) will host a roundtable discussion with advanced biofuel and biobased chemical companies to discuss the potential job creation and economic impact of deploying their industrial biotechnology applications. The participating companies each use a unique biotechnology process to convert a feedstock from a different area of the country to produce either biofuels or green chemicals, or both. Industrial biotechnology is unique among renewable feedstock conversion technologies in its ability to support coproduction of high-value chemicals and other biobased products. | ||
