USARacing Prepares to Bring Hickory Motor Speedway Its Biggest Event of the Season

BIGGEST EVENT OF THE SEASON*

CONCORD, NC.  (February 26, 2010) – USARacing officials announced today that
details have been finalized for the Pro Cup Series event at Hickory (N.C.)
Motor Speedway, scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2010.



The Pro Cup Series will embark on the famed .363-mile track with four
support series in tow, bringing to life what was conceived to be one of the
most exciting nights of racing on the Pro Cup Series 2010 tour.



“It certainly has all the ingredients for a spectacular event,” said Series
Director Jimmy Wilson.  “Not only for USARacing, but for Hickory Motor
Speedway, our fans and competitors as well.  We appreciate the support we’ve
received from Hickory Motor Speedway and the individual support series to
make this event a reality.”



USARacing officials have put together a lineup of support series racing to
feature a 30-lap USAC Ford Focus Midgets race, a 50-lap Allison Legacy
Series race, a 75-lap Rolling Thunder Modifieds race, a 125-lap ISCARS Dash
Series race, and capped off with the Hickory 250 Pro Cup Series event.



“We’re excited to have USARacing Pro Cup Series back with us again this
year,” said Kevin Piercy, Hickory Motor Speedway General Manager.  “The Pro
Cup Series always provides great racing and with the addition of four
support series, our fans are going to have an experience like no other at
Hickory Motor Speedway on May 1.”



The USARacing Pro Cup Series rolls into Hickory Motor Speedway on May 1 for
its third stop on the season schedule.  Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and the Pro
