New Commercial Vehicles Director For Ford Of Britain
BRENTWOOD, UNITED KINGDOM – February 25, 2010: Ford of Britain has announced the appointment of Steve Clary as its new commercial vehicles director, effective 1st March.
Steve Clary was the rental, remarketing and direct sales manager, Ford of Britain, from 2005 and went on to become district manager, for the north. Prior to his new appointment he was district manager for the West of Britain, where he was responsible for the car sales activities of the 158 dealers in the region.
Ford is Britain's best-selling commercial vehicle (CV) brand and last year took over 24 per cent of the CV market. In a challenging market new models such as the ECOnetic Transit and ECOnetic FiestaVan, will play an important role in maintaining Ford's competitive position. The Ford Transit remains Britain's best-selling van and it will celebrate its 45th birthday this summer.
Married with two children, Steve joined Ford in 1980 at the company's head office in Brentwood,Essex. He lives in Hertfordshire, and is a keen angler and golfer.
