Stream Energy Convention to Attract Thousands to Dallas
DALLAS--Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder announced that the Dallas-based retail electric provider will celebrate its fifth anniversary accompanied by extraordinary revenue growth when roughly six thousand Ignite associates flock to Dallas February 25-27 for the annual ”Ignition” conference.
“We have Associates who have fearlessly reached never-expected heights by working together with Stream Energy in the deregulated energy environment”
Stream Energy and its marketing arm, Ignite, have held the conference annually since 2006, generating tens of millions of dollars for the local economy. The Ignition 2010 conference, including a high-energy closing day event at the Dallas Convention Center, will have an economic impact to the Dallas area of approximately $4,588,272.00, according to the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Stream Energy has experienced more than a tenfold increase in revenues since its founding five years ago. A growth in revenue from $70 million in 2005 to $845 million last year advanced energy deregulation and provides ample reason for Ignite Associates to take pride in their achievements.
“Some of our Associates have been with the company since we began five years ago; others are new to the opportunity presented by the deregulated energy marketplace. They all have one thing in common – a desire to thrive in this challenging economy,” said Chairman Rob Snyder. “We have Associates who have fearlessly reached never-expected heights by working together with Stream Energy in the deregulated energy environment,” he added.
Ignition will provide seminars, speakers and training courses for Ignite Associates seeking ways to increase their business and expand their energy sales. Many will receive special awards for their accomplishments, including the additional members of the “Millionaires Club” to be announced this year.
Ignite Associates market electricity to customers in Texas and natural gas to customers in Georgia, both deregulated marketplaces, on behalf of Stream Energy.
