DEREK BELL-5 TIME LE MANS WINNER-TO ATTEND SUPERCAR EXPERIENCE TRACK DAY
AS GRAND MARSHAL 

PROFESSIONAL RACER DEREK BELL TO DRIVE MOSLER MT900S AT SUPERCAR
EXPERIENCE TRACK DAY FOR MEDIA AND VIPS 

 

 

(West Palm Beach, FL)- Legendary British driver, Derek Bell, will attend
the Supercar Experience Track Day as Grand Marshal on Friday, February
26, at Palm Beach International Raceway. Bell began racing in the
mid-sixties and is now considered one of the world's premier sports car
drivers. His resume includes two world endurance titles, five wins at Le
Mans, and three Daytona victories.

 

"Derek Bell is one of the most remarkable endurance racers to ever pilot
a car," says John Temerian, Founder of Supercar Experience. "We are
extremely honored to have one of the industry's greats as the grand
marshal of SCX Palm Beach Track Day."

 

Bell will be available for VIP and media lap drives in the Mosler
MT900S, a lightweight, high performance supercar boasting 'magical' road
and track performance in a very sexy package.

 

Additional highlights of the SCX Track Day include VIP and media drives
in the same Formula 1 car driven by World Champion Damon Hill, the
Arrows A18-Ford V8. The event will be hosted by Guy Cosmo, an
accomplished race car driver and former open-wheel racing champion who
won the 2005 American Le Mans Series Rookie of the Year award.  Cosmo is
a proven front-runner in the Grand-Am Rolex Sport Car Series Daytona
Prototype category and is a member of the driver lineup to compete for
the Extreme Speed Motorsports Ferrari F430 GTC team in the American Le
Mans Series' GT class for the upcoming race season.

Supercar Experience is a series of racy, high-tech mega-events which
will take place in three vibrant and affluent locations: Palm Beach, New
Orleans and The Hamptons. Young entrepreneurs and auto aficionados, John
Temerian and David Lee Adams, alongside new partner Jan Otto, are the
visionaries behind this one-of-a-kind event series. The Palm Beach main
event is open to the public and will take place along the Flagler Drive
Waterfront February 27th.

 

Over 350 supercar owners from around the globe will converge in Palm
Beach with their cars to share their passion for exotic automobiles,
racing and enjoy three days of camaraderie.  The event kicks off with a
National Press Day-limited to the media, celebrity drivers and VIPS on
February 24th

VIP and media lap drives in the Mosler MT900S, driven by Derek himself 

 *Opportunity for VIPs to drive the same formula 1 car driven by World
Champion Damon Hill.  Drivers will receive coahing before getting behind
the wheel of the Arrows A18-FordV8 which goes from 0-100mph in approx 5
seconds 

 * Guy Cosmo and other professional race car drivers offer instruction
sessions and competition license.

Flagler Waterfont, Downtown WPB 

 11:00am - 6:00pm 

 Over 350 of the most sought after cars in the world will be available
for viewing on the Flagler Drive waterfront.

waterfront

*Porsche Schuppan 962CR debut showcased 

*Formula 1 Arrows A18-Ford V8 showcased 

 

 

All of the above events are open to the media with pre-approved
