SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash./PHOENIX, Ariz. (February 16, 2010) - The American Hot
Rod Association continued its strategic advancement today by retaining
Active Marketing, the Phoenix, Ariz.-based PR and marketing agency headed by
former NHRA Pro Mod Challenge series director Matthew Brammer. According to
AHRA CEO Troy Moe, Brammer and his team will be responsible for managing the
public relations as well as assisting with sponsorship development.
"Matthew has the experience in the drag racing world that can help us
continue to advance to new levels," Moe said. "His professionalism and
positive attitude fit our culture extremely well, and his track record
speaks for itself. I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with him."
Brammer founded Active Marketing in 1993 and for more than ten years has
focused on the drag racing market. The company has represented numerous
drivers and teams, and Brammer personally served as the series director for
the NHRA Pro Mod Challenge for the past several years and was instrumental
in bringing the exhibition series to its status as a full professional
series.
Brammer said, "I'm extremely pleased and honored that Troy has selected us
to help him in his endeavors with the AHRA. He's got really big plans for
the future and it's exciting to be a part of shaping what will definitely be
a bright future for the AHRA.
"The challenge that comes with a job of this magnitude is one of the reasons
why I love my job. I'm definitely looking forward to a long, mutually
beneficial relationship," Brammer added.
