Mississippi Development Authority Webinar to Discuss Propane Vehicle Solutions for Fleets
Alliance AutoGas representative Mark Denton has been selected to speak about converting vehicles to run on propane AutoGas
ASHEVILLE, N.C., Feb. 16 -- On behalf of the Mississippi Clean Cities Coalition, the Mississippi Development Authority's (MDA's) Energy Division will host an informative Webinar to explain how retrofitting fleet vehicles can increase fuel efficiency and reduce dependence on foreign oil.
The Webinar is free and gives fleet owners and managers the opportunity to learn more about alternative fuel fleet conversions from the comfort of their own offices. The event will take place Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 10 a.m. CST and is expected to last approximately 45 minutes. Following the presentation, participants may take part in a brief question and answer session.
Alliance AutoGas Representative Mark Denton has been chosen to discuss the benefits of AutoGas as a vehicle fuel. "We are always pleased to spread awareness of the advantages of AutoGas to people who will benefit from our turn-key conversions," Denton says. "This event is especially great because we can address fleet managers' specific questions following the Webinar."
Vehicles that convert to propane AutoGas can expect: -- Lower fuel costs -- Significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions -- Lowered dependence on foreign oil (90% of propane is produced in the U.S.)
Ideal candidates for propane AutoGas vehicle conversion include taxis, law enforcement and municipal vehicles, limousines, utility company vehicles and many others. Fleet managers interested in test driving a propane-powered vehicle should contact Mark Denton at 251.626.2089 or mldenton@allianceautogas.com.
