Both operate ASA Member Tracks along with Sinclair promoting the Interstate Racing Association Outlaw Sprint Series, sanctioned by ASA. Beitler operates Skagit Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Burlington, WA. "It is a big honor because there are a lot of great, great promoters out there that are looked at every year," Beitler said. "You work hard, you do the best job you can and you always wonder if people will recognize what you do. When you get an award like this, it shows that you are heading in the right direction and it shows that you have gained the respect of your fellow competitors and promoters. That is very special to me and I am very humbled and honored to have it." Beitler also received Regional Auto Racing Promoter of the Year Honors at the 37th Annual RPM Promoters Workshop along with the National Speed Sport News 20th Annual National Speed Sport News Award for Outstanding Annual Short Track Event for the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup. Sinclair tied with Beitler for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame honor for his promotion of the ASA sanctioned Interstate Racing Association (IRA) Outlaw Sprint Series. He also promotes Wilmot Raceway, an ASA Member Track. "It's great to just be included with the other nominees and to be that well thought of and respected in the industry," Sinclair, who won the award for the third time, said. "It's great for myself and all of IRA and ASA." Sinclair was also proud that he shares the honor with another ASA sanctioned promoter, "It's great for ASA and its great to see ASA loving dirt track racing." "Both of them were competing with some of the best short track promoters in the country for this honor and for them to tie for the honor shows the respect the two have gained.
