Dave was a avid Corvette / Mustang enthusiast, whom lost life to an apparent heart attack, on November 8, 2008, while pursuing another passion, deer hunting, in the Black Hills, of South Dakota.
Dave was a road racer and drag racer, with a love for "Bowties and Blue Ovals". He was a regular on the road course circuit throughout the Midwest and Western part of the nation and a dedicated drag racer at Oahe Speedway and other regional tracks in the upper Midwest.
The rally will feature a poker run, show and shine, with trophies for several classes, and activity at Oahe Speedway , South Dakota's only NHRA sanctioned 1/4 mile drag strip.
A social gathering , on Saturday evening, will top off a great gathering of Dave's friends.
