FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MICHAEL SELF GEARS UP FOR 2010 TOYOTA ALL-STAR SHOWDOWN

PARK
CITY, UTAH (January 25, 2010) – 2010 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West rookie
Michael Self makes his 2010 season debut this weekend at the Toyota All-Star
Showdown at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, Calif.

The 19
year-old Park City, UT driver will qualify on Friday
with the 225 lap feature slated to be run on Saturday night. Both nights of
competition will be aired live on SPEED.

“We have
to make it in the show in the first place so the strategy is to focus on
getting everything the best we can for those two laps of qualifying,?? Self
said. “After that, it's just a long race where anything can happen. Staying out
of trouble and keeping clean is the best strategy any driver can have at a race
like this.??

Self will
be paired with teammate Jamie Dick for a two-car effort through Mike Naake /
Motorway Motorsports.

Self
plans to make a run for a 2010 series championship in the 12 race K&N Pro
Series West. The Toyota All-Star Showdown is a non-points event held annually
that pits the best racers from both the K&N Pro Series East and West, as
well as racers from other NASCAR touring series and international drivers, in a
225 lap event with over $400,000 in prize monies.

“It's one
of the biggest races of the year so everyone will be bringing everything
they've got and we won't slouch on bringing our best,?? Self said. “It's the
best competition I'll be up against all year so doing good at this race would
be a huge bonus and a big moral booster.

Nearly 50
entries are already confirmed with 40 cars slated to start the feature. A 50
lap qualifying race will be held on Friday night to finalize the starting grid.

Self’s activities
for the weekend begin with practice Friday morning at 10:55
 a.m. with
final practice scheduled to start at 12:50 p.m.

Qualifying
will start at 6 p.m. Pending results of Self’s qualifying efforts, he will
either already be locked in to the Saturday night feature or will have to run
the 50 lap qualifying race that starts at 9 p.m. on Friday.
