Hestiun Opens Canadian Headquarters

MADRID--This week, Hestiun continued its expansion in North America by opening its Canadian headquarters in Burlington, Ontario, the centre of Ontario’s Greater Toronto Area, the core of the country’s financial sector and commercial industries. The official launch of the Canadian headquarters was an exciting follow-up to the previous week’s successful opening of the company’s new office in New York, NY. Hon. David Anderson, former Canadian Minister of Environment and Hestiun Environment Division board member, officially opened the office, an event crowded with a truly global and diverse cross-section of people ma de-up of executives, politicians, business owners, professionals, local community leaders and other associated stakeholders from across Ontario, Canada and the globe.

Richard Granier, CEO / Chairman of Hestiun (http://www.hestiun.com), commented “It has been a very hectic period of expansion for us. Since our Environment Division won two Top awards, one for Staraqua and one for Bionetix, at the Global Forum for Human Settlements, Green Technology, in Wuxi, China, at the end of last year, it has all been good news and advances for our Group. Canada his a great Country, has an excellent business culture with its European touch, and we already have several investments here and are looking at a number of others. We will continue investing in our expansion and in Canadian people, and will be opening more offices in strategic locations”.

Frank Gallant, Hestiun Canada’s Chief and Managing Director points out “This office will be the focal point for all group investments and operations for all of Canada’s six time zones – from the Pacific to the Atlantic. We already have established Hestiun Finance (Canada), a vehicle for project investments, Hestiun Environment (Canada), which recently acquired Bionetix, a Montreal based company, and is opening Staraqua (Canada), situated in Burlington. We also have set up Hestiun Construction (Canada) with its unique low cost social housing projects. The future looks very bright for Hestiun in Canada and we expect our activities here to contribute to Hestiun’s continued ascent in becoming an international powerhouse, all the while remembering our core philosophy – being a responsible and caring corporate citizen of the world, wherever we operate. We will always maintain our commitment to our communities, the environment and our investee partners. Hestiun’s Canadian branch is searching for dynamic companies that require investment, liquidity, partnering or are wishing to be acquired. Any companies fitting this profile should contact Hestiun’s Canadian headquarters”.
