NAPA EXTENDS SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT WITH DSR AND CAPPS

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Jan. 15, 2010) - NAPA AUTO PARTS has extended its
multi-year sponsorship agreement with Don Schumacher Racing and driver Ron
Capps, beginning with the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.

NAPA enters its third straight season as a primary sponsor of the NAPA AUTO
PARTS Dodge Funny Car which Capps drove to a class-best five national-event
victories in 2009, ending the season third in the point standings. Ed "Ace"
McCulloch will continue as crew chief.

"We at DSR are thrilled to have NAPA AUTO PARTS back on board," said team
owner Don Schumacher. "NAPA is a world-class national company and it's our
privilege to continue this partnership through a multi-year agreement.

"With NAPA's support plus a talented driver such as Ron Capps and legendary
crew chief Ed McCulloch leading the NAPA team, we expect to see more
national-event victories in 2010 en route to a Funny Car championship."

³Don Schumacher Racing and Ron Capps are true professionals and great
ambassadors for the NAPA brand both on and off the track,² commented Bob
Susor, NAPA President, ³We are pleased to announce our continued partnership
and look forward to a promising 2010 season.²

"Any time it's announced that a sponsor has extended or renewed its
commitment it's such a big deal," said Capps, 30-time national-event
champion in 61 final rounds since going pro in 1995, "especially in today's
economy. NAPA has done so much for our sport, with the commercials, the ads,
and all the in-house promotions they do with their stores. With the number
of NAPA stores around the country, it just makes it that much more exciting
to be able to represent a company like that."

The 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series begins its 23-event schedule
with the season-opening event in Pomona, Calif., on Feb. 11-14.
