Titan Tire to Implement Price Increase

QUINCY, Ill.--Titan Tire Corporation, a subsidiary of Titan International, Inc. , will implement a price increase on Titan branded OTR (off-the-road), farm and construction tires, and Titan manufactured Goodyear branded farm tires effective March 1, 2010.

“While we may see additional pricing pressure in the future, we continue to focus on customer needs in our markets.”

The increase of up to 6 percent will help offset rising raw material, energy and transportation costs. Certain tire prices may rise in excess of 6 percent due to realignment and positioning of the product.

“As the economy begins to emerge from the global economic crisis, we have seen added pressure on input costs,” said Jeff Vasichek, vice president of sales and marketing. “While we may see additional pricing pressure in the future, we continue to focus on customer needs in our markets.”

Titan International, Inc., a holding company, owns subsidiaries that supply wheels, tires and assemblies for off-highway equipment used in agricultural, earthmoving/construction and consumer (including all terrain vehicles) applications. For more information, visit www.titan-intl.com.
