Briton to Lead Kia's European Sales Push
WEYBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM – January 12, 2010: Kia Motors Europe has announced the appointment of Bernard Bradley as Vice President Sales, as the company continues to add new resources and strength to its sales organisation in Europe.
A 42-year old Briton, Bradley brings a wealth of motor industry knowledge to his new role at Kia stretching over almost two decades in the business. Over the past 19 years he has gained experience in selling through multiple distribution channels, in key roles at Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Volvo, BMW and most recently as General Manager-Cars at Honda UK, where he headed the car business across all functions.
During his tenure at Honda UK he was acknowledged for his role in driving growth, leading and managing change. In 2008 he was named as the 2006 winner in the ‘Rising Stars’ sales awards by the leading automotive trade publication, Automotive Management.
Taking over his new position in Frankfurt from 1 January 2010, Bradley will report to Paul Philpott, COO of KME.
