Gumout Named Presenting Sponsor of SCCA National Convention

TOPEKA, Jan. 11, 2010: Sports Car Club of America, Inc. announced today that Gumout® has been named the presenting sponsor of the 2010 SCCA National Convention, the annual meeting of Club leadership held in Las Vegas, Jan. 28-30, 2010.

The meeting sponsorship is the first component of a multi-faceted marketing program that will be fully revealed at the SCCA National Convention Presented by Gumout.

“We’re very pleased to announce that Gumout has come on in a major way with our 2010 National Convention,” SCCA President and CEO Jeff Dahnert said. “Our convention is the most important non-competition event we have each year, where the best ideas and practices are shared from key member leaders across the country.”

Established in 1945, Gumout is a maker of top-line fuel system and injector cleaners as well as fuel system additives and maintenance fluids and aerosols. One of the most recognizable names in fuel system cleaners and additives, Gumout products are sold by automotive retailers nationwide.

As part of its Convention program, Gumout will be on site as an exhibitor and will take part in the new group of seminars geared toward SCCA racers.

The 2010 SCCA National Convention Presented by Gumout will take place at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev., Jan. 28-30. The event is kicked off with the traditional annual membership meeting on Thursday, followed by a series of intriguing seminars for leaders and racers alike. Each day features a special awards luncheon, and the three-day Convention is capped off with the annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Presented by Honda.
