Lohia Auto to launch 2 electric scooters in coming fiscal

NEW DELHI: Two wheeler maker Lohia Auto would launch two electric scooters in the coming fiscal and targets to sell 15,000 units of its existing models by March next year. "We will launch two new models in the next fiscal," Lohia Auto Head of the Department-Sales&Marketing Sunil Awasthi said in a statement. It would also expand its dealership in Delhi to 25 by the next financial year from 11 currently. The company may also look at rolling-out a hybrid scooter, he added. Lohia Auto is also eyeing a turnover of Rs 15 crore in the coming fiscal. The firm has a plant in Kashipur in Uttarakhand with a capacity to produce two lakh bikes per year.
