SRS Audio Solution options for new Visteon Head Units and Amplifiers include:
-- SRS TruVolume is an advanced, intelligent volume control solution that
eliminates the irritating volume fluctuations from a wide range of
multimedia content including DVDs, CDs, satellite radio, HD radio,
terrestrial radio, navigation instructions and video games, resulting
in a more enjoyable and level audio experience. TruVolume analyzes,
controls and maintains comfortable volume levels by utilizing
principles determined by SRS Labs' extensive study of psychoacoustics
- the science of how humans perceive and process sound.
-- SRS CS Auto is the industry's only audio decoding solution to produce
surround sound from any audio source. Applying this solution, Visteon
could have the capability to calibrate the audio experience and
compensate for speakers packaged in sub-optimal locations, such as
those mounted low in side door panels. As a result, CS Auto
transforms any automobile into a "home theater on wheels."
-- SRS TruSurround HD is a robust audio solution that provides a
remarkably enhanced listening experience by processing up to 6.1 audio
channels for playback over a car's speakers system, delivering deep,
rich bass response, crystal clear dialog for better intelligibility of
vocals, and definition control for maximum high-frequency clarity.
TruSurround HD virtualizes multichannel content, creating "phantom"
speakers that appear to extend all around the listener, producing an
amazingly realistic and immersive surround sound experience.
Meanwhile, mono or stereo content is seamlessly converted into an
expansive three-dimensional sound field.
