Volvo... Saab... IKEA - What an Idea!

What to do with Volvo? Hmm, too good of a car and carmakers to lose.

What to do with Saab? Also a good car with plenty of positive aspects.

What’s the hottest name in Swedish and Scandinavian brands: IKEA

What could bring these two Swedish carmakers together and keep them Swedish owned (or at least controlled)?

I know, how about IKEA buying the two companies and then selling the vehicles in existing IKEA stores as super dealerships (with additional traditional dealerships in the mix as well).

There would be great synergy between all three brands; sharing contemporary Scandinavian design characteristics along with the whole notion of Swedish cost-efficiency.

Even the Swedish government would have to agree to put up some money to make this happen. Hell, I’d buy stock in it.

I just need to find the phone number of the right guy at IKEA to call to get the process going. Can anyone out there help me out?
