Cytec Engineered Materials Congratulates Boeing on 787 Dreamliner First Flight
TEMPE, Ariz.--Cytec Industries Inc. and Cytec Engineered Materials (CEM), a division of Cytec Industries congratulates The Boeing Company on the first flight of the 787 Dreamliner in Everett, Washington earlier this week.

As much as 50 percent of the 787 Dreamliner’s primary structure is made of lightweight composite materials. The aircraft provides exceptional environmental performance using 20 percent less fuel and producing fewer emissions, with the additional benefit of quieter operation than today’s similarly sized aircrafts. CEM supplies a variety of advanced composite materials used in many applications on the 787 program.
