Datalliance Announces New Collaborative Special Pricing Reconciliation Service

CINCINNATI--Datalliance, a leading provider of collaborative commerce services, including Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and others, today announced immediate availability of Datalliance SPR, a new special pricing reconciliation service. Offered via the web using the Software as a Service (SaaS) approach, Datalliance SPR’s patent-pending processes enable manufacturers and distributors to collaboratively manage the ship & rebate process when distributors sell products to customers who have special pricing agreements with the manufacturer.

Using Datalliance SPR, manufacturers and distributors utilize a common system that automatically performs all the proper payback calculations using information provided by both parties. Each party need only submit the information they currently maintain, eliminating the redundant effort to acquire and process each other’s information. The system calculates just one number, eliminating the need to compare and reconcile different calculations.
