SHANE PRINCE MAKES MOVE TO NEXT GENERATION RACING IN TEXAS

 

Houston, TX (December 15, 2009) - Next Generation Racing, Inc. has hired Shane Prince as the new Late Model Team Crew Chief.  He relocates to Houston, TX from Idaho where he held the position of Crew Chief for Thompson Motorsports for three years.  During this time he guided six different drivers to numerous wins and three championship titles.  Over his 16-year career in racing however, Prince has earned twelve championships in both stock car and late model series' throughout the country.  His most recent accomplishment in 2009 was helping modified racer Rick Fowble win his first championship.  He also has experience crewing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Camping World Series West.

 

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with the Next Generation Racing team." said Shane Prince.  "The Bumbera's are a true racing family who has that never-quit-attitude I feel it takes to succeed in motorsports."

"Shane has the remarkable ability to read the track and set up a racecar for any driver regardless of their driving style or experience.  With us having two daughters and a son with totally different driving styles this will be a great advantage this season."

 

Next Generation Racing of Houston, Texas is the only NASCAR team based out of the state of Texas, and the only known team to have two sisters both quickly advancing their racing careers.  22-year-old Kristin Bumbera currently competes in the NASCAR Camping World Series and various late model races throughout the country.  17-year-old Kendall Bumbera is making history of her own in the sport, having just won her second Rookie-of-the-Year title this season in the Texas Super Racing Series Late Models.
