Autonet Mobile’s CEO Sterling Pratz to Speak at CES SuperSession: Driving Connected on Thursday, January 7
SAN FRANCISCO--Autonet Mobile’s CEO Sterling Pratz will speak on a panel at CES’ SuperSession: Driving Connected: Built-in, Brought-in or Beamed-in - Developing Cars that Don't Crash and Devices that Don't Distract. The session takes place Thursday, January 07, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, Room N250.
Moderated by Chris Cook, vice president Business at Dice Electronics, the panel will focus on innovations in information, connectivity, entertainment and safety while revealing the collaborative product development, deployment and integration of automotive and consumer electronics. Panelists include: Roger Berg, vice president, Wireless Technologies, DENSO International America, Inc; Steve Millstein, president, ATX; Jessica Steel, senior vice president of Business Development, Pandora Media, Inc; John Waraniak, vice president, Vehicle Tech, SEMA; and Sterling Pratz, CEO, Autonet Mobile.
“When we first envisioned putting Internet in every car five years ago, we recognized the need to develop a managed network with a TRU Tech platform that delivers apps and content media to moving vehicles,” said Pratz. “We knew we had to look at vehicles much differently than smartphones as the rules of smartphones only apply to a small percentage of in-vehicle connectivity requirements. Our TRU Tech platform was designed to be a scalable architecture that auto manufacturers can put into place today. This platform enables a new business model for the auto industry to generate new monthly revenue on every vehicle sold.“
