Matrix System(R)Announces 2010 “Award Winning Finishes” Calendar Contest Winners
WALLED LAKE, Mich.--The 2010 Matrix System Automotive Finishes “Award Winning Finishes” Calendar Contest was a huge success. The competition was close this year with many remarkable entries. Similar to years past, many of the vehicles were designed and painted by restoration, custom, and body shop painters nationwide.
The 2010 Calendar Winners include First Place Winner, “Boogie Man” of Boogie’s Custom Creations, Taylor, MI for his 1949 Cadillac Sedanet; Second Place Winner, Peter Weber of Peter Weber’s Custom Painting and Artwork, Statesville, NC, for his 2001 Custom Ducati Hyper Devil 666R and Third Place Winner, Guy Parks, Statesville, NC for his 1969 Chevy Camaro.
Also winning spots in the calendar were Andy Stapp of High Performance Finishes, Lockney, TX; Chuck Watson of Watson Engineering, Grosse Isle, MI; Arthur VanDerlofske of Altamonte Springs, FL; Chad Dellinger of Weber’s Paint & Body, Cleveland, NC; Brandon Knowles of Brand X Customs, Lynnwood, WA; Gary Zaborowski of Riverview, MI; Richard Wright of Richard Wright’s Chop Shop, Lexington, SC; Michael Vetter of Micco, FL and Josh Bourassa of True Kustom, Littleton, CO.
Honorable Mentions were awarded to Robert Kelly, Charleston, SC; Ken Lampton, Redding, CA; Eric Speer, Brownstown, MI; Bill Duncan, Scott Thomas and John Nicholas, Olathe, KS; Pam Newton, Statesville, NC and Mack Sturdivant, Orange Park, FL.
