JEGS to leave a mark on PRI show
JEGS to leave a mark on PRI show
ORLANDO (Dec. 10) - It's easy to get lost in the cacophony of sights,
sounds, and colors at the annual Performance Racing Industry show in Orlando,
but the familiar yellow-and-black of high performance parts industry leader
JEGS Mail Order will remain in the forefront thanks to three must-see Team
JEGS items.
On center stage at PRI's Pit Stop Café will be the beautiful, Jerry
Haas-built JEGS.com Pontiac GXP Pro Street racecar that Troy Coughlin drove to
the 2009 world championship in the Edelbrock National Muscle Car
Association. The photogenic machine is powered by a massive 830 cid Sonny Leonard
motor that produces 1,890 horsepower.
Just across the way in the ultra-hip Oakley booth, visitors can see the
groundbreaking one-piece firesuit five-time world champion Jeg Coughlin Jr.
helped design for use in NHRA Pro Stock competition and multiple other
classes. The attention to detail of driver ergonomics and state-of-the-art fire
protection make the suit an instant favorite for anyone that tries it on
and the experts at Oakley are prepared to outfit all comers in an identical
get-up.
While at the Oakley booth, conventioneers can also examine the artistry of
renowned artist Jason Beam of BEAM Designs, who paints helmets for a
start-studded list of professional drivers, including Jeg Coughlin Jr.,
four-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Joey Logano, Kurt Busch,
Robby Gordon, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, and Sam Hornish Jr.,
