World Recognized Motorsports Personality to Provide Driver Advancement Opportunity for CKI Karters

Phoenix, December 10, 2009: Among the background of the Performance Racing Industry Tradeshow today, home of the 2009 PRI CKI All-Star Karting Classic, Championship Karting International and Derek Daly Academy announced an alliance to provide Driver Development and Management Programs for CKI participants interested in enhancing their careers in preparations for entering the next levels of motorsport.

“Creating programs to assist our Drivers has always been an objective of Championship Karting International.” States series co-Founder, Phil DeLaO, “Having Derek graciously assist us help budding Drivers develop and manage their careers is truly an honor, and further enhances our program to give drivers every opportunity.”

Derek Daly will apply his Complete Champion Model, (CCM) to programs developed collectively with CKI, and offered to a few select Drivers of the WSK North American Series, to contribute to a developed ladder system into motorsport. More information and complete details of the program will be available in the near future.

“Driver Development has always been close to my heart, and I am delighted to participate in CKI’s initiative to support drivers right from the Karting level.” States Derek Daly. “Motor Racing is a complex and difficult sport that needs a specialized approach to developing its drivers. CCM has been developed to be that specialized approach and we are delighted to share it with CKI.”

To help launch the coalition, Derek Daly will be available at the Championship Karting International Booth, # 706, at the Performance Racing Industry Tradeshow, Friday, December 11, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Derek will also have copies of his latest book, about Driver Development, Race to Win available for signature.
