Rockstar Energy/Lucas Oil Challenge Cup Rescheduled

Corona, December 9, 2009: It was announced that the Rockstar Energy/Lucas Oil Challenge Cup originally scheduled for December 11th and 12th 2009, is being rescheduled for December 18th and 19th due to inclement weather. "The strong rain storms expected in the area throughout the week will likely cause difficult conditions that would compromise this event. By rescheduling the race just one week, it will give us the opportunity to host a fantastic race for the fans both in attendance as well as the NBC audience," said Competition Director Tony Vanillo.

The previously announced event schedule will remain intact with practice and qualifying sessions held on Friday, December 18th and races to be held on Saturday, December 19th. With the largest purse in short course off road racing, the Rockstar Energy/Lucas Oil Challenge Cup, is a one race, winner take all, end of year short course off road shootout in which winners in all classes will take home a beautiful trophy, a generous check and off-season bragging rights. The event will be broadcast on NBC, Saturday, January 2nd at 2pm ET.
