Homestead-Miami History: Truex will be making his fifth NSCS start at
the one-half mile oval. Truex has an average starting position of 20.0
and an average finish of 12.5 at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS). Truex's

in 2007.

About Phoenix: As the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) continues to
wind down, Martin Truex Jr. and the No. 1 Team were still searching for
their first top-five finish as they headed to Phoenix International
Raceway (PIR). The streak would end at Phoenix, and they started by
securing their third Coors Light Pole Award for the 2009 NSCS season.
Truex ran well inside the top ten for the majority of the day at Phoenix
and would eventually work his way inside the top five to secure his
first top-five finish of the 2009 NSCS season, and owner Chip Ganassi's
first top-five finish at the track in the Arizona desert. Truex has now
secured three Coors Light Pole Awards for the 2009 season, each of which
he won for a different primary sponsor...Bass Pro Shops (Daytona 500),
Guitar Hero 5 (Atlanta) and Rain-X (Phoenix).

Boats returns to the race track at HMS this weekend when the No. 1 Team
returns for the 2009 NSCS season finale at the one-half mile oval. Race

supplies should be sure to visit one of the two Bass Pro Shops located

Daytona International Speedway. The event benefits the non-profit
Darrell Gwynn Foundation to Cure Paralysis and the Betty Jane France
