Results from 2009 SCCA Board Elections

TOPEKA, November 17, 2009: Sports Car Club of America, Inc. announced the results for the five Areas holding elections. Four new members will join the SCCA Board of Directors in 2010, while one incumbent will rejoin for his second term.
Running unopposed in Area One, Richard E. Patullo, of Hampden, Mass., will take over the position vacated by Robert Introne Jr., who reached his two-term limit.
Robert Lybarger, of McHenry, Ill., will continue to represent Area Five after being elected to his second term on the SCCA BOD.
In Area Seven, former Chairman R. David Jones, of Fort Worth, Texas, claimed the spot left by outgoing Director Michael Sauce, who reached his two-term limit. James Christian also reached his two-term limit in Area Eight and will be replaced by C. William Kephart, of Colorado Springs, Colo. Another Director to hit his two-year limit, Howard Allen, will be replaced in Area 13 by Todd Butler, of Yamhill, Ore.
The SCCA, Inc. Board of Directors is comprised of 13 individuals voted on by the SCCA members of their particular Area. Areas are a collection of SCCA Regions nationwide.

New board members will join outgoing members on Dec. 3 – 5, for a Board of Directors meeting in Topeka, Kan., at the SCCA National Office. New members will assume their full duties in 2010.
Election ballots were received through November 16, and were tallied by Mize, Houser & Company, Certified Public Accountants.
