THE FLYING DUTCHMAN EXTENDS RACE SEASON

WILL COMPETE NEXT WEEK IN LUCAS OIL OFF-ROAD RACING SERIES

Las Vegas, NV (November 5, 2009) - After a successful season
competing in the Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL, Dan Vanden
Heuvel brought his #77 Flying Dutchman Maxxis Tire Chevy race truck to
the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) Show as one of
the centerpieces of the Maxxis Tire display. Along with other Maxxis
supported off-road trucks, crawlers, and buggies, Dan worked alongside
Maxxis Motorsport director, Creighton King answering any questions
that the crowd of 100,000 attendees asked.

The Maxxis Tire display was adjacent to the Lucas Oil Off-Road
Racing Series sponsored Off-Road demo track. Through out the show,
off-road race trucks would entertain the conventioneers with a display
of high flying action on the Toyota test track.

During this time Vanden Heuvel was approached to extend his race
season to include the final two weekends of racing of the Lucas Oil
Off-Road Racing Series. Within a few hours an agreement was reached,
and a title sponsor was on board to keep the Flying Dutchman racing
into December.

?We had an incredible season with TORC,? commented Dan Vanden
Heuvel. ?We were competing with guys that had huge budgets, while I
was running out of my pocket. My team proved we were one of the best
in the TORC series. Then without much fanfare, a deal was struck to
keep our team on the West Coast for another month to compete in the
Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series. That says a lot about our team, not
only this year, but also my entire career. ?

Look for Dan Vanden Heuvel Sr. in the Unlimited 2 division, as well
as his son Mike, driving the Probst Motorsports E3 Spark Plug truck in
the Unlimited Lite division competing next weekend, November 14-15, at
Primm International Off-Road Raceway in Primm, Nevada.
