RFR's Cap Henry Gets First Top Ten "Down Under"

Indianapolis, October 31, 2009: RFR Driver CAP HENRYRFR driver Cap Henry left for Australia at the beginning of the month and in his second race, scores a Top 10!

In his debut, he suffered handling and brake issues and did not transfer out of the "B" Main. On Saturday, he finished 6th and 2nd in his respective heats setting him up for his first "A" Main with local team owners, the Butler Brothers. After starting 12th, Henry crawled his way into 7th place while competing for the first time at the Brisbane International Speedway.

Temporarily based in Toowomba, Queensland, Australia, Henry will run between 6 and 8 races during his two month stay in the town that exported IndyCar driver Will Power.

Running for Aussie sprint car owners, the Butler Brothers, Cap should return to the United States in time to reunite with his team and begin the 2010 season at the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa , Oklahoma, January 10th – 16th.

The 19 year old just completed a very successful rookie year in the 410 sprint cars in an area of the country that is known for some of the best sprint car racing in the United States. He finished with three "Rookie Of The Year" titles: Attica Raceway Park, Fremont Speedway and the F.A.S.T. Championship (Fremont Attica Sprint Title). The two tracks in northern Ohio also produced Top 10's in all three points battles with a 6th at Attica, an 8th at Fremont and an 8th in the F.A.S.T. Championship plus, he helped Team CHR/Henry Motorsports to garner a 9th place in the owners points.....

F.A.S.T., the acronym for the “Fremont / Attica Sprint Title” is a series devoted to winged sprinters racing on two of the top Ohio dirt tracks alternating between Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. This weekend, Cap returns to Fremont in hopes of grabbing more points to leap frog into the F.A.S.T. Top 5 in overall points in this highly competitive series.
