VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – October 28, 2009: Australia’s most popular combination tail lamp has been further enhanced with a series of unique and clever engineering developments from Narva. It is now more versatile than ever, ensuring it retains its position as the consumer’s choice for trucks, utes, caravans, motor homes, camper vans and trailers of all types.

Narva’s Model 42 offers a fresh, modern and low profile design with all the benefits of 9 - 33 multi-voltage L.E.D technology.

Advanced engineering changes allow greater versatility with two easy mounting options available. The lamp can be mounted the traditional way using the mounting bolts through the back of the lamp or by mounting a snap-in base to a surface with screws or rivets and simply clicking the lamp into place. The bolt mounting is ideal for trucks and utility vehicles where the lamps are mounted to a fixture with the bolts tightened from the rear. Where access to the rear is limited or impossible, such as on caravans, motor homes etc, the re-engineered Model 42 lamp can now be mounted directly to an exterior surface providing a neat secure stylish and functional installation.

The new and improved Narva Model 42 lamps are fully ADR compliant, constructed of virtually unbreakable polycarbonate and rated to both IP66 and IP68. Reflex reflectors are built in and the lamps are sonically sealed with 0.5m of hard wired double insulated cable making them suitable for use on dangerous goods equipment. The lamps single cable exit features one connection per function reducing the need for additional wiring and labour.

Attractively designed packs complete the retail presentation with easy to follow mounting instructions and graphics to communicate the benefits and functions of the lamp. As an environmentally conscious company the attractive packaging has been designed to be completely recyclable.

Narva’s new and improved Model 42 lamps come under part No. 94202 for the Rear Stop/Tail/Direction Indicator with inbuilt reflector and Part No. 94210 for the Rear Stop/Tail/Direction Indicator and Reverse Lamp with inbuilt reflector. Also available are bulk packs containing 4 lamps without display packaging under Part Numbers 94202/4 and 94210/4.
