Jack Safro Motorcars Helps Distribute Up-to-Date Information and Protects Itself from Litigation Using Compli

PORTLAND, Ore.--Compli, the leading provider of on-demand dealership compliance management software for U.S. auto dealers, announces that use of their solution by Jack Safro Motorcars has helped the dealer group better communicate new policies and procedures to employees, as well as protect the chain from unnecessary and costly legal suits brought by disgruntled ex-employees.

According to HR.com and other sources, as the economy dips, the number of wrongful termination suits rise; making it necessary for companies such as Jack Safro to ensure that every policy is signed by employees and up-to-date.

“Before Compli it was difficult and costly to update our employee handbook with all of the new and changing laws and regulations,” said Connie Powers, HR Director at Jack Safro Motorcars. “Now we can have our employees read three or four policies in orientation and then show them how to use the system to read and sign off on the others later. We’re fully protected.”

In addition to policies and procedures, Jack Safro’s HR Administrator, Jackie Prissel, has made Compli’s dashboard into the company’s intranet, posting everything from workman’s compensation forms to vacation requests to an “HR tip of the week.” Employees now have one accessible place to go for updated information and forms for all of their needs; including “safety bingo” scores, a hit among the chain’s employees.

“We use it as more than a place to put our employee handbook; it’s a place for employees to go to get all of their information. If we don’t post the bingo scores within an hour of employees getting to work, we get calls,” Prissel said with a laugh.

In addition to helping employees, managers also use the updated and centrally-located information to stay current on the ever-changing information. Prissel uses Compli’s reporting feature to see what policies are pending and makes a follow up call to the employee’s manager; keeping the process moving and the stores protected.

“Compli is transforming the way auto dealers are managing their business. The platform is seamlessly integrated into the work life of each employee which ensures consistent and standardized management and training for all employees, the basis for enterprise wide compliance,” noted Lon Leneve, President of Compli. “We focus on delivering solutions to our customers that are non-invasive, easy to adopt and which positively impact the employee’s experience and the business’s performance,” concluded Leneve.

“Our employees are no longer in the dark,” said Prissel. “Using Compli has made everyone more willing to talk and ask questions. Out of all of the systems we looked at, I thought Compli was the best.”
