PROVO, Utah--Raser Technologies, Inc. , an energy technology company, today announced that Raser Vice President, David West was a featured speaker at the Military Energy & Alternative Fuels Conference in Washington D.C. October 20-21 put on by the Technology Training Corporation. Raser was invited to speak on the potential military applications of its E-REV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) powertrain, recently demonstrated in Raser’s electric Hummer H3E vehicle.
The electric Hummer H3E is the result of a two-year development program in cooperation with General Motors. The vehicle is powered by Raser’s proprietary E-REV powertrain. The powertrain was designed to drive America’s trucks, SUVs and other larger vehicles with over 100 mpg in gas fuel economy.
