RDA Group Appoints Ziomek to Director of Market Intelligence Service

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Oct. 20, 2009 -- RDA Group - a global market research and consulting firm - announced today that it has appointed Kimberly A. Ziomek to director of market intelligence service. The announcement was made by Donald A. Pietrowski, president of RDA Group.

According to Pietrowski, Ziomek is based in Bloomfield Hills and is responsible for global strategic growth and brand enhancement of RDA Group.

"Kim's extensive experience as an industry leader in sales and marketing with a number of global companies makes her a valuable asset to our company," Pietrowski said. Ziomek has more than 20 years of experience with a diverse group of automotive companies and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide, including Robert Bosch Corp., BorgWarner Inc., Siemens Automotive, Alps Automotive Inc., Takata Gateway and TRW Vehicle Safety Systems Inc.

While at these companies, Ziomek held a number of positions of increasing responsibility. She helped lead process improvements to streamline operations and managed sales, budgets, engineering issues and product launch and delivery. Specifically of note, she conducted an automotive benchmark study that resulted in significant cost savings and helped increase new product technology sales by more than 100 percent.

Ziomek also has market and business intelligence experience with PolkROADTODATA AG and JATO Dynamics, Inc. Most recently, she served as a career advisor for Lee Hecht Harrison, a career transition and leadership consulting agency.

Ziomek founded and serves as interim president of Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation, serves as vice president of Alliances and is active in the Marketing & Sales Executives of Detroit. She was named one of Automotive News' Top 100 Most Influential Women in 2000. She earned a Master of Science degree in business from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich. and a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich.
