AequiCap Announces New Development in Tower Relationship
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--We are pleased to announce that AequiCap’s relationship with the Tower Group Companies (“Tower”) has moved to a new level. AequiCap Insurance Company and AequiCap Program Administrators (collectively referred to as “AequiCap”) have finalized their agreement with Tower’s operating subsidiary in Florida, CastlePoint Florida Insurance Company to sell their renewal rights for all inforce workers compensation business.
AequiCap continues its relationship with Tower for its commercial automobile liability product lines. AequiCap represents Tower though its subsidiaries Preserver Insurance Company (“Preserver”) and Tower Insurance Company of New York (“TICNY”) and writes taxicab liability insurance in the following selected states: Arizona, California, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
AequiCap continues to represent Tower for commercial trucking liability though CastlePoint Florida Insurance Company in Florida and Tower Insurance Company of New York in Georgia and South Carolina.
AequiCap Insurance Company (“AIC”) continues to write commercial auto liability for trucks, cabs and limos in Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas.
