Michigan Tech University Wins SAE International Video Contest

WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 16, 2009 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Michigan Technological University is the winner of SAE International's first-ever video contest.

Titled, "This is Our SAE," the contest challenged SAE Sections or collegiate chapters to create and submit videos depicting the value of SAE International membership and participation. The videos were to be a maximum of three minutes and needed to end with the phrase, "This is our SAE!"

Videos were judged on innovativeness and creativity; showing the value of SAE International to the section or collegiate chapter; use of the SAE International logo, products or events; originality; motivation and inspiration; professionalism and quality; and message clarity.

Members of the Michigan Technological University team were honored for their video during the Awards Luncheon on Oct. 7 at the SAE 2009 Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition in Rosemont, Ill.
