Lofton, who locked up the 2009 ARCA championship following a third place finish at Rockingham Speedway last Sunday, closed out the season with an impressive six race wins, five pole awards, and a series leading 15 top-five and 19 top-10 finishes spanning the tour's 21 races. Lofton also made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut this season, running the Carfax 250 at Michigan International Speedway in August. He qualified 19th and finished a solid 16th in his debut. The 23-year-old champion will be available to media interested in discussing his 2009 championship season as well as future racing endeavors. Lofton is currently working on possible driving opportunities for the remainder of 2009 within NASCAR. He is also pursuing full-time opportunities for 2010.
