PKE2010 Launches Online Outdoor Racing Registration

Las Vegas, NV, October 15, 2009: The much anticipated outdoor racing for more than $15,000.00 in total cash prizes has opened the online registration as of this morning for the three classes HPV Jr., Rotax Senior and TaG Senior.

PKE2010 is the largest performance karting exposition in North America and the only event to incorporate live indoor and outdoor competitions with cash prizes. Each of the three classes will compete for $5000.00 in prize money with $2500.00 going to first place, $1500.00 going to second place and $1000.00 going to third place.

The outdoor track has been designed to utilize over 90,000 square feet of smooth asphalt behind the beautiful South Point Event Center on Las Vegas Boulevard. The track layout will provide drivers with a 1/3+ mile course with 12 turns and a 400 ft long straightaway.

Each class will have a maximum of 32 competitors and that is the total number allowed to sign up. Due to the amount of time and daylight, there we not be any elimination rounds or last chance qualifying. Only the first 32 will be accepted.

The registration bundle includes a set of tires, fuel, oil and competitor registration. Both the driver and mechanic will receive full weekend entry with insurance coverage to PKE2010.

A covered pit space will be provided for each competitor directly adjacent to the track as well as free parking for a trailer or hauler in a secured area by the hot pit.
