NOTES
Martin Truex Jr. and No. 1 DJ Hero(tm) Team

Charlotte History: Truex has eight NSCS starts at Lowe's Motor
Speedway. His best finish of seventh came during his very first start
at the race track in 2005, when he started 30th. He has had much more
success in the NNS at the track affectionately known as the "Beast of
the Southeast." Truex has six NNS starts, with one top five, and three
top 10s. His best finish in the NNS came in 2006 when he finished
fifth.

About Fontana: Martin Truex Jr. positioned himself inside the Top 15
early on at Auto Club Speedway, but a late-race engine problem would
eventually put the team one lap down and in 22nd position as the
checkered flag dropped at Auto Club Speedway.

DJ Hero on The Hood: Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates has
partnered with Activision Publishing, Inc. and its long-time sponsor
Target(r) to feature the highly anticipated, critically acclaimed new
interactive music experience, DJ Hero(tm), on Martin Truex Jr.'s No. 1
Chevrolet in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Charlotte,
North Carolina's Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 17. The
video game maker returns as primary sponsor of Earnhardt Ganassi Racing
for the eighth time this season after sponsoring Aric Almirola and the
No. 8 Team for four races, including the 2009 Daytona 500, and the No. 1
team with driver Martin Truex Jr. at Indianapolis, Atlanta, and Auto
Club Speedway. Fans should look for a DJ Hero(tm) paint scheme that is
sure to add a fresh style to Truex's already supreme skills on the race
track.

NASCAR Fans to the DJ Booth!: Target invites race fans to take DJ
Hero(tm) for a spin 10 days before its launch at the Target DJ Hero(tm)

Corporate Communication, Jim Hunter as Emcee on Friday, October 16 from

give fans a true party feel, welcomes race fans to enter and test their
skills on numerous DJ Hero kiosks.

Juan Pablo Montoya and No. 42 Lysol Team
MEDIA ALERT: Juan Pablo Montoya will be available in the media center
for a brief media Q&A session on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 1:45 p.m. ET.

The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup: The third-place finish at
California marked Montoya's fourth consecutive top-five performance in
the Chase. Through the four Chase races, Montoya is the only driver to
finish in the top-five in all of them. In addition, his California
finish helped him maintain third place in the point standings. The
point's deficit between him and new leader Jimmie Johnson is 58.

The Chase Stats: After four Chase races, the statistics for Montoya are
impressive. Compared to the 11 other Chase drivers, Montoya has the
highest average starting position of 5.3, the best average running
position of 4.102 and the highest percentage of laps run in the top-15
with 99.3%, and is tied with Mark Martin for the highest average
finishing position of 3.5. He is ranked second for the percentage of
fastest laps run, and the percentage of laps led.

Lysol Paint Scheme: The No. 42 Earnhardt Ganassi Racing Chevrolet will
display the Lysol paint scheme this weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Lysol is a brand name of disinfectant household cleaners distributed by
Reckitt Benckiser. It is marketed for cleaning, disinfecting food
surfaces and odor removal. The name is used on aerosol sprays,
pre-saturated tissues and liquid solution.

Lowe's History: Juan Pablo Montoya will be making his sixth NSCS start
at Lowe's Motor Speedway this weekend. This marks the fifth race of the
Chase. Montoya has an average starting position of 26.2 and an average
finishing position of 27.4 in his five prior NSCS starts. Montoya's
best finish of eighth occurred at the spring race earlier this year. He
has completed 91.9% of the possible laps at Lowe's; 1561 out of 1698.

About California: Montoya started from the second row in the fourth
position and it didn't take long for him to find his way to the front of
the field once the green flag waved. On lap 25, Montoya took over the
lead and would find himself in that position a total of seven times
throughout the day. The Target Chevrolet would never fall out of the
top-10 during the 250-lap race and was continually credited as the
fastest car out on the track. The race winner would be determined in a
three lap shootout at the end of the day. Montoya would line up fourth
on the final restart and battle it out for position until the very end.
He advanced one position to cross the finish line in third.

Ganassi Racing claimed their seventh open wheel crown Saturday night at
Homestead-Miami Speedway as Dario Franchitti drove to his fifth win of
the season, locking up the 2009 IndyCar Series championship in the final
race of the season. It marks the second IndyCar championship for
Franchitti (2007), who returned to Indy car racing this year after a
season in NASCAR with Ganassi. Teammate Scott Dixon finished third in
the race, locking up second in the championship standings for a Team
Target one-two sweep. Along the way, Franchitti (five) and Dixon (five)
combined to win 10 of 17 races this season for Target, who celebrated
their 20th year of partnership with TCGR in 2009.

2009 In Numbers: Montoya and the Target team have accumulated two pole
awards, six top-fives, 16 top-10 (53.3%) and 20 top-15 finishes this
season. In the 30 Cup races run this season Montoya has earned 24 top-20
