Gates Unveils NaviGates – Drives Parts Cataloging Online
DENVER--Gates Corporation today unveiled NaviGates, an innovative new online parts application database that enables users to easily search Gates complete line of OE quality aftermarket parts by vehicle category, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), or part description – all that is required is an Internet connection. With the widespread availability of broadband access, Gates is reshaping the way parts catalogs are being distributed and used in the automotive aftermarket industry.
“Technology improvements are enabling us to dramatically change the way we deliver catalog information. Today, there are new online applications for distributing our content that we believe are more dynamic, efficient and effective.” said Lisa Henkel, Manager of Product Data Services. “We also believe that by providing real-time access to the latest parts and application information available from Gates we will continue to drive increased demand for the products we offer in the marketplace.”
The next-generation NaviGates replaces Gates eCAT+ online catalog and, for the first time, provides application information for virtually any vehicle cataloged by Gates. This includes passenger cars and light trucks, medium/heavy-duty trucks, buses, refrigeration units, farm tractors, lawn and garden equipment, snowmobiles, ATV’s and much more. NaviGates also gives users access to the Gates industry-leading VIN Decoder, product photos, routing diagrams, tech tips, training videos and promotional materials. The new NaviGates application can be downloaded by visiting www.gatesnavigates.com.
