CCC Information Services Inc. to Hold Salvage, Subrogation Discussion at CIECA National Implementation Conference
Incorporation of CIECA interface for CCC subrogation solution part of technical session
CHICAGO, Oct. 12 -- CCC Information Services Inc. will be discussing the enhanced reach of its proven solutions into the subrogation and salvage segments as part of its presentation at the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) Inaugural Implementation Conference on Oct. 13, 2009. "Recovery: Salvage and Subrogation CIECA Implementation," will be presented by CCC Vice President of Product Management's subrogation solution, Alan Aleia, as well as Product Management Salvage Solution Director Roy Stokes and Marketing and Product Management Senior Vice President Debbie Day.
As part of its presentation at the Northbrook, Illinois event, CCC is discussing its implementation of what is believed to be the first commercial subrogation solution to utilize the CIECA standard-based interface to facilitate a paperless electronic communication process between carriers and subrogation vendors. The carrier to vendor collaboration enhancement, generally available on Oct. 23, 2009, is an evolution of the company's subrogation solution earlier releases.
"The industry vision for future improvements in subrogation includes electronic collaboration between carriers and the vendor supply chain," said Aleia. "With a CIECA standards-based communication protocol in place, there is less reliance on manual methods of moving volumes of data helping reduce cycle time and expenses."
CCC will also be discussing its plans for integrating the salvage standards into a more integrated process. "Our salvage and subrogation solutions allow us to expand the network by connecting insurers with many different vendors," said Day. "We look forward to discussing the implementation of these standards at the inaugural CIECA Implementation Conference."
