Toyota Financial Services (UK) Managing Director

EPSOM, UNITED KINGDOM – October 12, 2009: Toyota Financial Services (UK) PLC announces the retirement of its Managing Director, Mr David Betteley who for personal reasons has decided to spend more time supporting his wife as she recovers from a recent illness.

Mr Betteley joined Toyota in 1998 and spent the first 2 years leading the team that set up Toyota's Motor Captive Finance in the UK. Since then he has overseen the significant growth and success of the company, leaving it today in a very strong position as the leading Motor Captive Finance Company in the UK market, a position verified by the FLA stats.

Mr Betteley also steps down from his concurrent position of Senior Vice President of Toyota Financial Services Corporation's (TFS) Europe and Africa region.

Mr Betteley has made significant achievements in the development and growth of TFS in Europe and Africa and can reflect proudly on his achievements. His contribution to the success of Toyota has been highly valued by the company and everyone at TFS wishes him well for the future
