NGA Announces New Chairman of the Board

NGA ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

WASHINGTON, DC (October 7, 2009) - The National Glass Association (NGA) is pleased to announce the election of Kevin McMahon to the office of Chairman of the Board.

McMahon, of K-Man Glass Corp. in Bethel, CT has been a supporter of the NGA for many years, having served on the board since 2004. McMahon took the office of Chairman on October 1 at GlassBuild AmericaŽ in Atlanta GA. He will serve a one-year term.

Joining McMahon as executive officers are Chairman-Elect, Steve Burnett of Walters & Wolf Curtain Wall, Mukilteo, WA, and Treasurer, Chris Mammen, Mammen Glass & Mirror, Irving, TX. Steve Mort, Don's Mobile, Modesto, CA, serves as immediate past chairman for the coming year.

Rod Van Buskirk, Bacon & Van Buskirk Glass, leaves the board after his dedicated years of service. Newton Little, Ace Glass, Little Rock, AR, and Bob Brown, Brown's Glass, York, PA join the board of directors to serve a three-year term.

Board members returning for the 2009-2010 term are: Bill Evans, Jr. of Evans Glass Co., Nashville, TN; Rich Harrison of Belron US, Columbus, OH; Paul Heinauer of Glasspro, Mt. Pleasant, SC; Douglas Linderer of Go-Glass Corp., Salisbury, MD; John Morris of Jack Morris Auto Glass in Memphis, TN; Gregory P. Pattakos, Advanced Auto Glass, Inc., Akron, OH; and Robert J. Trainor, Trainor Glass Co., Alsip, IL.
