Salem Preferred Partners Chosen to Build Green Diesel Product
LAS VEGAS--Salem Preferred Partners, (www.sppllc.com), a Virginia-based provider of complex assembly services, today announced that it has been selected by Innovative Hydrogen Solutions Inc. (IHS) as the exclusive manufacturer for its groundbreaking Hydrogen Injection System (i-phi™). This module for diesel-powered trucks, tractors, generator sets, buses and other vehicles produces a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gases which improve the combustion process, increase fuel economy and reduce pollution.
Peter McLaughlin, CEO of IHS, said, "We are very pleased to have partnered with SPP who has manufacturing expertise in Canada and the USA for the heavy duty truck OEM market. Based on this expertise, SPP will be able to keep up with the anticipated market demand for our i-phi systems."
Jerry Callahan, CEO of Salem Preferred Partners (SPP), says, "This is an important agreement for our company, and i-phi products that we've built are already being used successfully on the road by major trucking companies. We stand by the quality of all of the products we build, and we are looking forward to a long relationship as IHS's manufacturing partner for their revolutionary product."
The i-phi™ produces a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gases through a controlled electrolysis process, significantly improving the engine's combustion process, resulting in more complete fuel burn. This increases fuel economy (which saves money) cleans exhaust (which reduces emissions) and reduces soot and carbon deposits (which keeps the engine oil and components, like EGRs cleaner and extends out service intervals). Third-party tests have reported:
- 10 - 30% reduction in fuel consumption from
- 80% reduction in hydrocarbon emissions
- Engines run cleaner, reducing clogged engine components and increasing oil change intervals
