TechAmerica Chooses Reaction Design as a Finalist for a Coveted High Tech Award

SAN DIEGO--Reaction Design® announced today that it has been selected as a finalist in the Clean Technology category for the Sixteenth Annual TechAmerica High Tech Awards. TechAmerica San Diego, formally AeA San Diego, has been recognizing outstanding regional companies every year at its annual awards ceremony. The winners of this year’s awards will be acknowledged for their achievements on October 30th at the Hyatt Aventine in La Jolla.

“We are very excited to be recognized this year as a local leader in clean technology,” said Bernie Rosenthal, CEO of Reaction Design. “Reaction Design is at the forefront of helping companies improve combustion efficiency and meet environmental standards by lowering emissions of harmful greenhouse gases.”

Reaction Design was one of a number of local San Diego companies nominated for a TechAmerica High Tech award. Finalists were chosen based on a number of categories that include their technological or business innovation; exceptional products or service; product marketplace validation; perseverance in the face of adversity; and community involvement.

“We were pleased to announce Reaction Design as one of three finalists in this year’s Clean Technology category,” said Kevin Carroll, regional director of TechAmerica San Diego. “As clean technology becomes more relevant in our society and continues its growth in San Diego and the outlying communities, it is important to honor companies such as Reaction Design for the continued work they do to better our environment.”

The 2009 TechAmerica High Tech Awards are sponsored by Barney & Barney, CBRE, Deloitte, Formula, Procopio, Silicon Valley Bank, SMS Technologies, TLC Staffing, and United Healthcare.
